We’re a new church plant, and we’re taking it slow, seeking Jesus and living at rest.

Ministries will develop as the Lord guides us. Below, though, you can find some of the rhythms we’ve already established.

Nursery and Children

We love the kiddos at Christ the Shepherd (the little lambs!), and we never want to be a hindrance between them and Jesus! Children of all ages are always welcome to be in our worship service, and the “noise” isn’t noise to us!

If it is helpful, however, we offer a nursery ministry during the sermon time of our liturgy on an every-other-week basis. If you want to keep track of which Sunday nursery is available, email us and get on our weekly newsletter list.

Evening Prayer

Evening Prayer is a liturgical service meant to be prayed in community. It’s a hallmark Anglican spiritual practice. It’s how Anglicans close the day. We gather every other Wednesday night as a community for dinner and Evening Prayer. Want to join us? Reach out on the Contact page, and let’s talk about when and where.

Men's Bible

Men’s Bible reading is on a “summer” break until August. Typically, though, every other Tuesday morning, the men of Christ The Shepherd get together for bagels and Bible. We read a section of Scripture, let it work its way into our hearts by discussing, and we pray together. Currently, we meet at Blue Sky Bagel on Cloverdale and Chinden in Boise.
